Create your own textures using SynTex
Syntex allows a texture artist to design images that are different for every
generation but have the same overall characteristics, much like two pieces of
wood from the same tree. These images are suitable for many applications
including web page backgrounds, desktop backgrounds, and 3D graphics. All of
the textures and banners on the Synthetic Realms website were created using
SynTex. Use the Gallery link to view some sample
textures created using SynTex. Here is a screen

The following procedure can be used to include a "Backgrounds by SynTex" button
on your web page:

Right-click on the "Backgrounds by SynTex" image and select Save Picture As...
